Instead of hitting the vending machine at work, eating the same snacks your kids do or stopping for a quick pick me up at the drive through, grab something a little healthier. A bagel smeared with peanut butter, Greek yogurt topped with fresh berries or hummus and a few carrots can fill you up more than a candy bar will.

Get Exercise

You can cut down on fat, sugar and calories and still not feel healthy. Health and nutrition experts recommend getting at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. You might take a walk around the block, play a game of tag with your kids outside or just do a few squats, curls and lunges during commercials of your favorite television shows.

The sooner that you decide to get serious about health and nutrition, the sooner you can drop a few pounds and get healthy. Eating the right snacks, dining on healthy meals and exercising every day are just a few tricks you should follow.
